Distinctive qualities of Pop Lacrosse

• There are two teams with 5 players on each team (six if a using a goalkeeper at over 12 level only).

• Teams can be mixed or single sex.

• For the annual Under 11 Schools Pop-Lacrosse National Championships, teams must be mixed.

• The goal must be a four by for foot cage with a net.

• The sticks must be plastic pop-lacrosse sticks, which may or may not have a bar across the front to aid in keeping the ball in the stick.

• The ball must be a soft plastic pop lacrosse ball.

• A goalkeeper may be used for Under 12’s and above.

• If using a goalkeeper, a helmet must be worn.
